dBKAisla is a comprehensive programme that predicts sound transmission loss. Its potential is so large that it enables the calculation the insulation of different types of elements (walls, panels, ceilings, floors, glasses, etc.):

Types of elements:

01

Singles

Elements composed of a single layer; for example: wall of brick.

02

Multiple

Elements composed for several layers (double, triple, quadruple, ...) of single elements; for example: double laminated gypsum board panels with air space.

03

Mixed

Elements which surface is composed for different single or multiple elements; for example: walls with windows, doors with an oculus.

This software offers the user the possibility of calculating a group of specific solutions for each type of wall, whether for elements used in construction, railways, industry or craft.

This programme is different to other tools because it shows the results according to the frequency (1/3 octave), in the global value of the insulation against pink noise in dBA and it also calculates the insulation index Rw (C;Ctr) according to the EN ISO 717-1 standard.

The results are the best proof of this part of the software, because after a joint validation project with the LGAI Technological Centre, a maximum difference of less than 3dBA was obtained between the predicted values and the ones measured in the laboratory.

dBKAisla is exclusive because it enables the calculation of the global insulation between two premises, taking into account the flanking transmission mentioned by the EN 12354. At the same time, the user will be able to obtain the airborne noise insulation value and the impact noise insulation value, automatically.

One of the most important features of this multilingual programme is its flexible database. dBKAisla has a large collection of acoustic characteristics on the most typical building materials which measured in accredited test laboratories. Moreover, there are some building materials of the most well-known brands.

Nevertheless, users will be able to introduce the building systems that they use the most, and create their own measurement database.

This dynamic software also offers the possibility of creating reports and supporting sheets. The reports it makes are the most comprehensive in the market, because they follow the format defined in the EN ISO 140 standard and collect the information used during the whole working session. The supporting sheets work in a similar way – they show the compliance of the limit values of sound insulation.
